Write for the season before it arrives
The winter tire pages are ranking by September because they were built in summer. A page published the week the snow comes is a page for next year.
Canada
Canadian auto repair has a calendar the rest of the world does not: "winter tire change [city]" in October and April, "rust proofing" before the salt, "block heater", and in Quebec the winter tire law that fills every bay in November. Around it sit the year-round searches, "mechanic near me", "brake repair [city]", "oil change near me", "safety inspection [province]". The shop whose pages answer the season gets the calls the season brings.
The chains, the dealerships and the tire retailers hold the city terms with scale. The neighbourhood, the specific job and the map pack are where an independent shop wins, and the reviews decide which of the three shops on the map gets the car.
Certification is the trust: the provincial trade certification or Red Seal, the safety inspection licence where the province issues one, and the CAA approved status where held. They belong on the page and the profile.
The shapes auto repair shops are found by in Canada. The words in brackets are whatever the searcher puts there: the town, the suburb, the matter, the treatment.

Brakes, tires, oil changes, diagnostics, safety inspections, rust proofing, air conditioning. Each is a search, and a shop with one services page competes for none of them.
The commercial slot for most auto repair searches is the map pack, and the reviews decide the call. The profile carries every service, true hours including the tire season extension, and photographs of the bays.
The industry page, SEO for auto repair shops, has the problems and the questions in full; the country page, SEO services in Canada, has the search landscape in Canada for every trade.
Pages for a seasonal service need to be written and indexed months before the season. Publishing a snow removal page in November is publishing it late.
A page per province that a business genuinely serves, with city pages underneath only where there is real service, reads as true to both a buyer and to Google. A footer listing every city in Canada does not.
Quebec search is a different campaign with different pages, written by somebody who writes French natively. We do the English side and say so plainly rather than machine-translating.
Each is written for the way that city searches and for the trades that search there most.
SEO happens in your accounts and on your website, so nobody needs to visit. We scope the work on a video call in your hours, send a written quote, and then work month by month with a call whenever you want one. The result is judged on the enquiries in your own records, never on a ranking report.
Every number below is from the client’s own Google Search Console, for the period shown. Impressions are how often the site appeared; clicks are people who arrived. What each visit is worth is your sales process, not ours, so these are the visits we can prove rather than a conversion figure we cannot.
+139,355% clicks against the previous period of the same length.
+2,059% clicks against the previous period of the same length.
On the city-wide terms, rarely. On the neighbourhood, the job and the map pack, yes, because the chains cannot be in your neighbourhood and cannot earn your reviews.
Not on our pages. The pages explain what the service includes and how to book; the figure comes from your desk, and a page with no figure still wins the search when the profile and the reviews are right.
Profile changes show within weeks. Job pages take a season, which is why the tire pages are built in summer.
