SEO for med spas and aesthetic clinics

Aesthetic buyers search by treatment, almost never by clinic type. Botox, filler, laser hair removal, microneedling, coolsculpting, and then a place. They also compare on price more openly than in any other clinical market, and they read reviews before they read anything you wrote.

A cross section through skin: the outer layer, the dermis with its fibres, glands and follicles, and the fat cells beneath, with a beam entering to a focal depth

Peak Endurance, a sports clinic, Sep 2023 to May 2024, from 482,378 impressions. Their Search Console.

A clinic with a page per treatment, saying what it involves, how long it lasts, what it costs and who should not have it, will be found for all of those searches. A clinic with one page called Treatments will be found for none.

Searches we build for, with the place name your customers use:

  • botox [city]
  • lip filler near me
  • laser hair removal cost [city]
  • microneedling [neighborhood]

What stops med spas getting enquiries

Three problems we find on nearly every med spa website we audit, and what we do about each.

  1. A treatment menu instead of treatment pages

A price list with twenty rows ranks for nothing. Each treatment is its own search with its own questions, and each needs a page that answers them.

  2. Before and after photographs with no page

The strongest thing you own, usually sitting in a gallery that ranks for nothing. Inside a treatment page, attached to the treatment, they work twice.

  3. Nothing about who should not have it

Contraindications and downtime are what people actually search after the price. A page that covers them reads as clinical rather than promotional and converts better.

  4. Reviews not asked for

This market compares on review count and recency more than most. Getting them asked for, and answered, moves more than another article.

  • The plan of a treatment room: a couch with its working clearance dotted around it, a trolley, an equipment stand, a basin and a run of storage
  • An exploded drawing of a treatment handpiece: cable and strain relief, connector collar, the body in section, a sealing ring, the cartridge and the tip

What you get each month

  • A page for each treatment you offer, with what it involves, downtime and who is not suitable
  • Before and after photographs attached to the treatment page rather than a gallery
  • Google Business Profile: treatments as services, weekly posts, reviews replied to
  • Area pages where your catchment genuinely reaches
  • Technical work on image weight, which is the usual speed problem on photo-heavy clinic sites
  • Monthly Search Console report by treatment

How pricing works

What sets the size of the month is how many treatments you want pages for and whether you have one location or several. A single clinic with six treatments is a smaller month than a group with twenty. We scope the work on a call and send a written quote before anything starts. The SEO services page explains what a month covers and who does it.

Results from real clients

Every number below is from the client’s own Google Search Console, for the period shown. Impressions are how often the site appeared; clicks are people who arrived. What each visit is worth is your sales process, not ours, so these are the visits we can prove rather than a conversion figure we cannot.

Questions med spas ask us

Should we publish treatment prices?

This market expects them more than most, and a from-price with what moves it answers the question and filters the enquiries. What you publish is your call and the pages work either way.

Are before and after photographs a problem?

They need consent and they need to be your own work. Both of those are yours to confirm and nothing is published without it.

Can we claim results?

Only what you can support. Typical ranges from the manufacturer or from published guidance are fine and useful; invented figures are not and will not be written.

How fast does this work?

Profile and review work often shows in four to eight weeks. Treatment pages take three to six months, and they bring enquiries that are further along.
