SEO for bathroom and kitchen remodelers
Nobody searches for a remodeler. They search for the room. Bathroom remodel, walk-in shower, small bathroom ideas, kitchen renovation cost, and then a place name. The firm that has written a page about that specific room, with photographs of one it finished, is the firm that gets the call.
Peak Endurance, a sports clinic, Sep 2023 to May 2024, from 482,378 impressions. Their Search Console.
It is also a trade where the enquiry is worth a great deal and the buying decision is slow. People look for weeks, come back to the same two or three sites, and choose on whether the work looks like theirs. That makes the project pages more important here than almost anywhere else.
Searches we build for, with the place name your customers use:
- bathroom remodel [city]
- bathroom remodeling cost [city]
- kitchen renovation [neighborhood]
- walk in shower installation near me
What stops remodelers getting enquiries
Three problems we find on nearly every remodeler website we audit, and what we do about each.
-
A gallery instead of pages
Most remodeling sites have one gallery and no pages. A gallery ranks for nothing. A page per room type, with the photographs inside it and a sentence about what the job involved, ranks for each of them.
-
No prices at all, not even a range
The first thing every buyer wants is whether they can afford it. A page that refuses to indicate anything loses them to one that says what shapes the cost. You do not have to publish a rate card to answer the question.
-
Finished work with no address
Photographs with no neighbourhood attached are worth far less than the same photographs on a page about that neighbourhood. The work you have already done is the strongest local signal you have and most firms waste it.
-
A profile with no project photos
A Google Business Profile with a photograph added this week beats a bigger competitor whose last one is from the year they opened.
What you get each month
- A page for each room type you take on: bathroom, kitchen, basement, whole-home
- A write-up of one finished project each month, attached to the area it was in
- Google Business Profile: services, weekly project photographs, reviews replied to
- Area pages for the neighbourhoods you genuinely travel to
- Technical work: image weight on photo-heavy pages, which is the usual speed problem in this trade
- Monthly Search Console report by room type and by area
How pricing works
What sets the size of the month is how many room types you take on and how many areas you genuinely serve. A single-room specialist in one town is a smaller month than a whole-home firm across a metro. We scope the work on a call and send a written quote before anything starts. The SEO services page explains what a month covers and who does it.
Results from real clients
Every number below is from the client’s own Google Search Console, for the period shown. Impressions are how often the site appeared; clicks are people who arrived. What each visit is worth is your sales process, not ours, so these are the visits we can prove rather than a conversion figure we cannot.

Questions remodelers ask us
Should we publish prices?
A range or a starting figure, with what moves it, answers the question buyers actually have and filters out the ones you do not want. What you publish is your call and the site works either way.
How many project write-ups do we need?
Fewer than you think, done properly. One a month with real photographs, the area named and what the job involved beats twenty gallery thumbnails.
We do bathrooms and kitchens. One page or two?
Two, always. They are different searches, different budgets and often different customers. One page covering both ranks for neither.
How long before enquiries change?
Profile and photograph work often shows in four to eight weeks. Room pages take three to six months, and the enquiries they bring tend to be further along in the decision.
