Google review link generator
The fewer taps between a happy customer and the review box, the more reviews you get. Paste your Place ID and this makes the link that opens your review form directly, and a QR code you can print for the counter, the invoice or the side of the van. The code encodes the link itself, so it never expires and nothing tracks it.
The link
Paste a Place ID and the link appears here. This needs scripting on.

Why the direct link gets more reviews
Most businesses ask for a review by saying "find us on Google". The customer then has to search, pick the right listing, scroll to the reviews and find the button, and every one of those steps loses a few of them. The direct link opens the review box in one tap, signed in or not, on a phone or a laptop. Reviews are the largest single lever on the map pack, which is where a local business gets its calls, so the difference between asking and asking well shows up as enquiries rather than as a number on a dashboard.
The QR code is the same link for the places a link cannot go: the counter, the invoice, the receipt, the van. It encodes the address itself rather than a redirect through somebody's server, so it cannot expire, cannot be switched off and cannot report who scanned it. The SVG prints sharp at any size; the PNG is for the places that want a picture file.
Ask every customer the same way and never trade anything for a review. Google removes reviews it judges bought or gated and suspends the profiles that gathered them, and a suspended profile is a business that has vanished from the map. If that has already happened, the suspended profile guide is the way back.
The rest of the profile
Reviews are one of the things that decide the Google map pack; the categories, the service area and the posts are the others, and the Business Profile service covers all of them. The local SEO checklist is the do-it-yourself version.
Questions about review links
Where do I find my Place ID?
Google publishes a Place ID Finder on its Maps Platform documentation site. Type the business name as it appears on Google Maps, pick the right listing, and the ID is shown under the pin. It usually starts with ChIJ. You do not need an account or a key to use the finder.
Is this the same as the link in my Business Profile?
It lands in the same place. The Business Profile dashboard offers a short "get more reviews" link that goes to your review form; this page builds the long form of the same thing from the Place ID, which works whether or not you can open the dashboard, and it makes the QR code that the dashboard does not.
Does the QR code expire?
No. It encodes the link itself, not a redirect through anyone’s server, so it keeps working as long as the listing exists. That is also why nothing here can track scans: there is nothing in between.
Can I ask customers for reviews?
Yes, as long as you ask everyone the same way and never offer anything for the review or filter out the unhappy ones first. Google removes reviews it judges to have been bought or gated, and it can suspend the profile that gathered them. A card at the counter or a line on the invoice, given to every customer, is the honest version.
Is anything I type here sent anywhere?
No. Everything happens in your browser. There is no form submission, no analytics event and no network request of any kind, which you can confirm in your browser’s network tab. The test link opens Google only when you click it.
