Hacked WordPress site? We clean the site and the search results
Most malware cleanup ends when the files are clean. If spam pages or a hacked label are
still showing in Google, the job is only half done. Send us your address and the Passieon
Team will look at what Google shows for your domain and reply in writing. The first check is free.
Short answer: A hacked WordPress site usually needs two cleanups: the files and database, then the spam pages and warnings Google still shows. Passieon does both, files the Search Console requests and reports what Google answers. Google decides what leaves its index and when, so no one can promise a date.
One site, cleaned and checked, with the search damage handled as part of the same job.
Cleaning the site
We scan the files and database with reputable scanners and then check by hand, because scanners miss things. The cleanup is done with a vetted developer working to our checklist. We replace core files, remove injected code and backdoors, review users and access, and close the way in.
Cleaning the search results
Security companies often stop when the malware is gone, and the spam pages can stay in Google for a while afterward. We list every spam address Google shows for your domain, make sure each one now returns a status that tells Google it is gone, and use the Search Console tools Google provides to ask for them to be hidden and re-checked. Google decides when each page leaves its index.
Fixing Search Console
We look for owners and users that should not be there, read the Security Issues report, fix sitemaps that list spam addresses, and when every item is resolved we send the review request with a written explanation of what was cleaned. Google decides the outcome and how long it takes.
Hardening
We hand back a checklist of the changes that make a repeat less likely, and apply the ones that fit your setup. Our WordPress security hardening checklist shows the same steps in plain language.
Monitoring, if you want it
A monthly service that watches uptime, file changes, new spam addresses showing up in Google and the Search Console security report, and tells you quickly if something returns.
What it costs
The cost is quoted in writing after the free check, once we know how many sites and how
many spam addresses are involved. You will know the cost before any work starts.
How it works
1
Send your site address
Use the form above. Name, email and website is all we need. No payment, no login, no access to anything yet.
2
You get a written first look
The Passieon Team checks what Google shows for your domain and what your public pages return, then replies in writing in writing with what we see and what we would do first. Anything we see is treated as unconfirmed until we have looked inside the site.
3
You decide
If you want us to do the work, we agree the scope in writing, ask for the access we need, take a full backup and begin. We send progress by email and recorded video walkthroughs, and you can book a call if you would rather talk it through.
What we do not promise
We do not promise that Google removes any page, lifts any label or restores any position.
Google decides. We clean the site properly, file the requests Google provides and keep watching, and
we tell you plainly what has changed and what has not.
Common signs are spam pages for your domain in Google, visitors sent to other websites, a hacked or harmful label in search results, a security message in Search Console, and users or files you do not recognize. Some hacks show the spam only to search engines, so the owner sees a normal site. Send your address through the form and we will look at what Google shows.
Is the first check really free?
Yes. We look at what is public and reply in writing. We do not ask for a card or for any login.
Can you guarantee the spam pages leave Google?
No. Google decides what stays in its index and how fast pages leave. We make sure the site is clean, that the spam addresses return the right status and that the right requests are filed. Google then acts on them in its own time.
Can you guarantee my search visibility will come back?
No. Once a site is clean and re-checked, search visibility depends on Google and the site after cleanup. We tell you what we see and keep watching it.
Will Google remove the "This site may be hacked" label?
Google says the label appears when it believes content was placed on your site without your permission. After the site is fully clean you request a review in Search Console, and Google decides whether to remove it after reviewing the site. Our guide explains what the warning means.
Do you use the same tools as security plugin companies?
We use reputable scanners too, plus manual checks. The difference is that we also deal with Google: the spam addresses, Search Console and the review request. Passieon is an independent agency and is not connected to WordPress, Google or any security plugin company.
What access do you need?
For the free check, none. For the cleanup we need a WordPress admin login, hosting or file access, and Search Console access if you have it. If you do not have Search Console set up, we help you set it up first. We take a backup before we change anything.
I am an agency and a client site was hit. Can you help?
Yes. See the white-label page. We work under your name and deal only with you.
